The hotel's location was great. It's in the Financial District and it was around a 10-minute walk to the Ferry Building. I felt so comfortable walking to the Ferry Building area and from there, I used the path to walk all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was so friendly and even if there were check-in kiosks, they were ready to assist you. There's also a seafood restaurant besides the lobby and the prices were on par with similar restaurants. Since I was traveling alone, I really wanted to try the cioppino, a fisherman's stew that originated in SF. I saw that the prices in seafood restaurants start at $50. But the Fish & Farm restaurant at the hotel have a huge lunch portion for $25. It was really good and I highly recommend it! There's also a Starbucks besides the restaurant. My room was cleaned everyday and what I love most was the water station near the elevator. You grab a bottle or two and can always replenish your water anytime. I'm glad that I was able to save money on buying water since most hotels would only provide a complimentary bottle per day. As for safety, you have to use your room card on their elevators. The area outside the building looked very safe to me. And since it's in the Financial District, the office people are the ones you'll see walking on the streets.

Super quiet and clean room! Walking distance to so many things. We were able to come over on the ferry and walk to the hotel, walked to a speakeasy down the way, Chinatown, got on the muni and went to the Haight Ashbury area. There was a Starbucks literally right next door and when it was closed there was another one a block away. The room was very small but we didn't need anything huge, just a place to sleep basically since we planned on exploring the city most of the day and night. There was no fridge but again we didn't need one, just adding it so you know. There was a water bottle station right outside our door with chilled filtered water. They provided water bottles or you could fill your own. They also have 24-hour coffee and water in the lobby. There are lots of USB ports thankfully because we forgot our plug for the charger and only brought the cord. The bathroom was small but okay for us, shower only - no tub. They also use refillable bottles for shampoo and conditioner and they are big, not like those small travel ones - You cannot take these with you unless you want to be charged.

Location: Perfect. Embarcadero Station's just 6-7 or so minutes of walking away, which gives you 30-40 minutes of access from SFO using BART, and also access to Muni's Metro lines. Bus stops are scattered within a few minutes away too, which should give you coverage to other areas that Muni metro lines do not. Fisherman's Wharf is 20 or so minutes walk away, if you feel like being active. Area's pretty safe too, even at night. You can see some homeless people but not anything egregious that I wouldn't find in my own city. Price: I snagged a good deal for the dates I wanted to stay at. Got a good, clean room with most of the amenities I was expecting. Staff: Helpful, no complaints Facilities: They got laudry room guests can use (ask reception for detergent and dryer sheets), which honestly is a god send for me. They also have ice machine available for guests, which together with their water refilling stations I greatly appreciate.

If you come to San Francisco for sightseeing than the location is perfect! We were walking to many attractions: the cable cars, China Town, Embarcadero, Italian Village, Union Square. The tram line F to Fishermen's Wharf is also nearby. Many eating options within walking distance, too. Staff is polite, professional and helpfull but usually very busy. I'd asked for a quiet room and I received one on the 7th floor, there was only part of a street noise reaching our level :-). We had even a partial view to the sea! Thank you. The hotel premises and room was clean. Our queen size bed was comfortable. There is a free coffee and tea in the lounge area and a purified water station on each floor. The hotel doesn't have any breakfast room. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where you can get your meals.

the location gave easy access to public transportation and several interesting restaurants within walking distance including the ferry building and North Beach. The room was quite dark and the view from the room was terrible onto a wall (courtyard) with slightly audible machinery running nonstop. However, no traffic noise or emptying of containers in the middle of the night. Makes for a good night rest. The shower fixture was very nice, except it didn’t let you adjust the height of the shower head although it was on a rail. Water flow was very good and the warm water came very fast. The refrigerator was adequate size and hidden in the desk, which minimized the running noise. The public parking garage is across the street and was $35/night.
